Using Augmented and Virtual Reality to Demystify Healthcare
The healthcare ecosystem has become increasingly complex, posing new challenges to medical professionals and their patients. ARDVRK was created on a vision to simplify the often-confusing and jargon-filled world of healthcare and life sciences.
Through the use of Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR), we tell compelling and engaging stories that make it possible to “visualize” better health
As experienced healthcare and life science executives, we understand the complexities of the industry.
We know that, traditionally, staying informed meant plowing through endless paperwork and online research, or deciphering advanced clinical concepts.
We set out to change that — by creating powerful visual experiences that get to the heart of the matter in a way that is quickly and easily understood. Think of it as better health…visualized.
“ARDVRK is paving the way for the future”

The Next Generation of Medical Simulation Technology
Since the advent of medical simulation technology, the toughest obstacle has been finding a way to accurately replicate complex medical and surgical skills. ARDVRK’s 3D augmented and virtual reality solutions tackle that challenge by taking simulation technology to the next level.
The roots of medical simulation can actually be traced to the aviation industry. Flight simulation has long been used to safely teach pilots how to fly planes. Pilots gain hands-on training and experience, without leaving the ground or facing the risk of crashing a plane.
The same approach translates perfectly to the medical field. Similar to flight simulation, ARDVRK’s AR/VR medical simulations allow physicians and patients to become fully immersed and engaged in a realistic healthcare scenario or procedure. Through visualization and experiential learning, they develop an acute understanding of healthcare, ultimately achieving better outcomes.
This is the next generation of medical simulation technology — and it truly is eye-opening.
AUGMENTED REALITY (AR)
Augmented Reality depicts a physical, real-world environment whose elements are “augmented” by digital sensory input — such as sound, video, and animation. Unlike virtual reality, which creates a totally artificial environment, AR overlays new information and graphics into the existing environment by using the camera on your smartphone or tablet.
VIRTUAL REALITY (VR)
By wearing a special Virtual Reality headset, users are instantly immersed into vibrant and fully interactive environments that drastically increase the effectiveness of training and educational content. ARDVRK works will all major VR headset providers — from the $1 Google Cardboard powered by your smart phone, to the PC-powered Oculus Rift.
